A great FRC Doral Weekend

What an awesome weekend it was. First on Saturday we got together and had a great time at Doral Park. It was great to see so many of you come out and share your afternoon with us. We enjoy great food, awesome music by The Jazz Trinity and a great opportunity to meet each other. We also had some healthy volleyball competition among several teams. I just happen to be on the winning team…. sorry Heredes. Many of you brought food to share and most importantly, your friend and family… great going.

This weekend service was incredible. Pastor Garland came down from Cooper City to teach and encourage us on how to pray. This weekend was particularly special because I got to meet so many new people. All of our hard work is starting to pay off, as many new faces come in saying they saw us at Starbucks or at some other event in the area. This weekend we had 278 people between both services. God is doing a great thing and you and I happen to be a part of it.


For the remainder of this year and going into 2008, we have many plans to connect with people in our community. From new teaching series to events in the community, the best is yet to come. I encourage you to begin to pray for your friends and neighbors by name; asking God to give you the right moment to invite them to church. There is a special message for each and every one of them. As you pray, God will be guiding His spirit in you to know when to take the step and invite them.
